Characteristics of team
We are a fully student-run undergraduate design team that specializes in solar car construction and racing. The team is made up of full-time students at the University of Toronto, who dedicate their time to this amazing experience without pay/academic credits. The team is not exclusive to engineering students, and includes people from the Rotman School of Commerce, and the Faculty of Arts and Science at the University. We are mostly consisted of first and second year university students, and pride ourselves in our teamwork.
This year around, we have implemented novel technologies and measures to make a competitive car to race in the BWSC17!
Team's "ambitions"
for this year's BWSC
We have one simple yet ambitious goal: Finish with a Top 5 placement in the upcoming BWSC17. Through the trialling process of designing and building our next-gen car, we have formed an unspoken comradery amongst our members. The BWSC will be the cherry-on-top of this unique and amazing experience for the team!
